Today I am kick starting my weight loss journey with the help of an old friend, Eric Tonips. He is the owner and creator of Fitness Fare. http://www.fitnessfare.com/ He has asked me to participate in his Rev Muffin Challenge. The muffins will help to curb my appetite and over eating tendencies. I am also going to be doing at least 30 minutes of cardio at least 3 times a week.
I would greatly appreciate any advice and suggestions that my readers might have. Whether it be food choices, recipes, workout routines or just ideas to keep me motivated.
This morning has started out great! I got up earlier than I usually do, went to Eric's cafe to get my muffins for the week and headed to work. I ate one double chocolate muffin and drank 16oz of water. 10 minutes later I had an apple. And I'm completely satisfied!
Tonight I get back into my workout routine. *this is the part I dread* Especially in this heat!

Proud of you!! I gotta try those muffins, too. I have a chocoholic carb addict for a daughter, so those would be great, I bet.

I wasn't planning on sharing my food charts because I thought it would be too boring. But I am keeping track of what I'm eating on an excel spreadsheet already so I could easily share that info.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear the morning is going well so far! :) I'd also be interested in seeing what else you eat other than the muffins. I tend to do well with my eating for a couple of months, and then I get bored and slack off. Good luck!!
