Last night I enjoyed my dinner with Deb at our favorite sushi place. Deborah was super sweet and supportive and ordered edamame for our appetizer instead of our usual fried calamari. I had to estimate the calories on the sushi, but I had a roll and a half. I guesstimated it was about 750 calories total. But who really knows?
I set up a page on http://www.sparkpeople.com/. It's a really great and free way to keep track of my calorie intake, fitness time and weight and measurements. My username is SherylW78 if anyone else wants to log on and be Sparkbuddies with me. *that didn't sound too pathetic right?* The site can also give you a daily chart of where, when and on what you are spending your calories. Very cool.
I will be posting my weight weekly on this blog. My pictures will be updated either monthly or bi-monthly along with my measurements. *fyi when my mother helped me take my measurements, I was totally shocked at how large my butt really is* Here is my measurements from Monday so we will have something to compare them to when I decided to measure again.

As for adverse side effects from the drastic change in my diet and fitness levels....
I'm not hungry.
I'm not cranky.
I'm not even whiney.
But I am completely and totally TIRED. All the time. I'm getting almost 8 hours of sleep at night but I am so drained of energy. That will get better with time right? *for my husband and step kids sake, I sure hope so.*
