It ain't over til the fat lady sings.

And boy am I singing.

Today it is over. Today I change my life. Today, I am done being fat.

I will no longer be the fat friend, or sister, or daughter. I will no longer eat to the point of being uncomfortable. I will no longer use lack of time for an excuse for not exercising. I will no longer be a hypocrite to my step children. I will no longer use food as a coping device.

I started this blog in the hope that it will help me hold myself accountable for my food and exercise choices. I'm asking anyone who reads this to not hesitate asking how my new lifestyle change is going. I have found that I am happy and content in all aspects of my life except the way I look and feel physically. So this must change. I am ready to be balanced.

I am going to put it all out there. This blog will be real and brutally honest. With that said...
